My name is Jordan Nichols and I am a Lighting Designer at Christie’s Lighting Gallery. Growing up in Western North Carolina, I attended Western Carolina University and graduated in May 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and a minor in Studio Art. I decided to pursue Interior Design when I was in high school, and it started with browsing through Pinterest. Being detail oriented, I thought I would be well suited for the profession. It was when I was searching for a summer internship that I heard of Christie’s Lighting Gallery. After interning for two months, I knew lighting design would be something I could return to and enjoy. I began working full-time at Christie’s in the summer of 2017 and am constantly learning and growing. Lighting is ever changing, from technology to styles. It stays interesting! It is so enjoyable to watch our showroom change and be able to help people’s visions of their spaces come to light! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my Blue Heeler, Lola. We also love spending time with our families playing board games or retro video games.

Hi, my name is Stacy Hepner. I am a Lighting Designer at Christie’s Lighting Gallery. I began working at Christie’s when I moved to Western North Carolina in 2016. I have enjoyed working in the lighting industry for over 20 years. I have always had a passion for being creative and majored in Fashion Merchandising while also receiving a degree in marketing and sales. I completed my ALA Lighting Specialist course in 2004 and received certification from the American Lighting Association. I have also continued my education through the American Lighting Association over the years. What I love most about lighting is that I have an opportunity to help create a beautiful space where people can have great memories. I love seeing the excitement from my clients helping them make their dream homes come true. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and two beautiful girls. We enjoy hiking, going to the beach and crafting.

My name is Kimberly. I graduated from Western Carolina University in 2017 with a bachelors degree in Interior Design and a minor in Studio Arts. Upon graduation, I moved home and worked in furniture for two years. After being underwhelmed with my position in furniture, and being distanced from the beautiful NC mountains, I knew it was time to pursue something new. I am pleased to say I have been working at Christie's Lighting Gallery since the end of 2019. Lighting is an extraordinary part of the home that can truly make all the difference in comfort and style. I'm enjoying learning something new each day and helping people find the perfect fixtures for their spaces.

Hello! I’m Angie. I’ve lived in the Asheville area since the early 80’s, in fact I graduated, then what was known as Montreat Anderson College. Since then, I’ve had various fields of interest during my career. However, one that has given me such satisfaction is that of an interior decorator. Combining my experience with decorating I found lighting to be a natural and complementary fit. What I enjoy most of all, building lasting relationships with my clientele and helping them to navigate or simply discover the desired feel or outcome for their home. After all, your home is your sanctuary, somewhere you feel safe and secure, what an honor it is to be a part of such a process. I enjoy spending time with my family, spoiling my two grandchildren and granddogs. Also, exploring most anything outdoors, gardening, camping, horseback riding; I’m sure you’ll agree, nothing beats a mesmerizing campfire, right?

Hi there! My name is Kensley, and I’m the Head of Business Development for Christie’s Lighting Gallery and Silver Fox Gallery. I grew up on the border of North Carolina and South Carolina and have a deep love for this area. After spending over five years as a stay-at-home mom, I wanted a role that allowed me to connect with others, and with my background in the building industry, Christie’s was the perfect fit. I’m passionate about building relationships, creating strategic partnerships, and supporting workforce development in the construction industry. In addition to my role in business development, I serve on the board of the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where I work to strengthen our industry and community. But above all, my biggest priority is raising my little humans to be kind, well-rounded individuals. Whether it’s cheering them on in their activities, helping with school work, or simply making memories together, being their mom is the most rewarding role of all.

Hello, my name is Lauren and I'm Kristie's executive assistant, I also handle our Warranties Department. I studied biological sciences at Florida State where I originally had hopes of doing field research and aspiring to, basically, become the next Jeff Corwin. I spent the last several years working in the veterinary medical field and even a zoo. Although it is vastly different, I am a quick learner and a hard worker, which absolutely came in handy here. My husband and I had wanted to move to North Carolina for quite some time, to be closer to family, and got offered the opportunity to work with some! We jumped on the offer and couldn't have packed up our home faster. I never thought I would be in the world of lighting, but here I am...and loving it more than I ever expected. Lighting is a science in itself and fixtures serve a purpose in the body of the design, whatever that may be. I am loving the NC mountains and abundance of wildlife (the breweries don't hurt either). I may spend most of my days at Christie’s Lighting Gallery, but in my free time I’ve been enjoying exploring my new hometown with my husband and pups.

Hi, I’m Molly, Manager of the Greenville Showroom. For Decades I’ve enjoyed helping customers with design selections for their home: cabinets, tile and stone, faucets and fixtures, as well as lighting – creating beautiful spaces that speak to their personalities and embody the feel that they want to achieve. I feel so blessed to be a part of this team who’ve made me feel at home after moving from Lake Tahoe, NV. When I’m not in the showroom I love exploring the places that make the Greenville area so special! In Lake Tahoe I spent weekends hiking, camping, fishing, and backpacking – all of which have given me some incredible times with friends and family and I’m looking forward to more of that in your beautiful mountains. The Pickleball community is on point here too! I’m a recent (no longer reluctant) cross-over from Tennis.

Hi there! I’m Sarah, and I'm a Lighting Designer with Christie's Lighting Gallery. I was born and raised in a charming coastal town on Florida’s east coast. My husband and I recently relocated to Greenville for a change of scenery and a new adventure! I went to Indian River State College to study Business Administration but couldn’t resist diving into a few Interior Design courses on the side for fun. My passion for Interior Design has been a constant throughout my life, and I’ve worked in this field for many years. While my background is rooted in upholstery, textiles, and woodwork, it wasn’t until I joined Christie's that I discovered how powerful lighting can be in transforming a space. It’s truly the finishing touch for any home design. Outside of work, you'll catch me running along the Swamp Rabbit Trail with my husband or strolling downtown with our two Golden Retrievers.

Hi, my name is Bryan (BJ) Burleson. I help coordinate and carry out deliveries for Christie's Lighting Gallery and our sister furniture company, The Silver Fox Gallery. I was born and raised right here in the mountains of WNC with my parents having roots here as well. After graduating from high school, I spent the next six years working retail. In that time, I had a chance to dabble in a lot of different roles, from customer consultation to receiving inventory as it came off the trucks and everything in between. I learned a lot of valuable things and met some really great people, but wanted something different. Something that was less corporate and more family oriented. I was lucky enough to find just that in a locally owned glass jewelry shop. For two years I made unique earrings, pendants and necklaces and truly enjoyed it. It not only gave me the opportunity to make jewelry but also allowed me to refine my own art, as in my free time I enjoy painting and drawing. Of course, like so many others, Covid shook things up for me and I had to pivot. I didn't want to return to the corporate world, but finding something that matched the homegrown vibes that I had before seemed just as daunting. That's why I'm so grateful that I found Christie's Lighting Gallery. I get to be around a supportive, dedicated team of people that all work hard for each other, and understand that life happens.

Our family relocated to the Asheville area in 2007 after living in Michigan for almost all our lives. My Dad had built a Design Center, which Rob, my husband, helped build. My Dad wanted a lighting store to be included but no one was interested in opening one, so he called me and asked if I would be willing. This is how Christie’s Lighting Gallery began! We picked the name based off of my name and also Christie’s Auction House. Rob and I were the only workers for the first two years. We were self-trained with the American Lighting Association and with the help of lighting reps. The business took off and we now have two locations for Christie's Lighting along with our sister furniture store, Silver Fox Gallery. In our free time we love spending time with our family, especially our beautiful granddaughter!

Hello, my name is Jacob Spino. I am the Manager here at Christie’s Lighting Gallery. When I was in high school, I had no interest in being a part of my families’ business, but I ended up here and love it! I do all of the merchandising which is a lot of fun. I am constantly trying to change things around and make things more efficient for customers. I can’t wait to take over Christie’s one day and continue to make it a unique family-owned business. In my off time, I love spending time with my stunning wife and beautiful baby girl. I also enjoy mountain biking.

Hello, I’m Jennifer! I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Being an extrovert and raised around an entrepreneurial community, I knew I wanted my job to be exciting, influential, and non-stop. At age 18 I became the Assistant Manager of a local restaurant while going to school full time for a Business degree with a focus in Marketing and Retailing, while also participating in a local dance company. I then discovered that I wanted to pursue marketing further. My first job in the field was working as a marketing assistant for a small business. Due to my hard work, a local nonprofit elected me to be on the board for communications. After many years of managing our sister store, Silver Fox Gallery, I have now worked my way up to be the General Manager of Christie’s Lighting Gallery, Silver Fox Gallery, and American Eagle Locksmith. I enjoy solving problems and figuring out how to make all businesses be the most successful they can be along with making sure all our employees are thriving and have what they need to grow! Honestly, I love to be at work, but when I am not, I am with my family.
